Held after the site has closed to the public, this evening event begins with a one-hour guided tour focusing on the Outstanding Universal Value (OUV) of the Chapelle Notre-Dame-du-Haut in Ronchamp. During this tour, participants will learn about the criteria that led to the chapel’s inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of “The Work of Le Corbusier: An Outstanding Contribution to the Modern Movement.” This approach provides a deeper understanding of the architectural, artistic, and symbolic significance of this masterpiece of modern architecture. Following the guided tour, the evening continues with a shared outdoor buffet (weather permitting; if not, it will be served indoors), offering a unique moment of conviviality in the very heart of this exceptional site. As night falls, participants are invited to enjoy a peaceful and contemplative atmosphere, conducive to conversation and discovery.
