Ten years after his death, the Cap Moderne website pays tribute to Robert Rebutato, whose career was shaped by his encounter with Le Corbusier at the age of 12. The son of Thomas and Marguerite, who ran the Etoile de Mer restaurant and bar from 1949 to 1984, he went on to become a builder and architect. As a member of the Board of Trustees of the Le Corbusier Foundation, he was committed to preserving the legacy of Le Corbusier and his work, in particular the conservation of the Cap Moderne heritage complex.
