Exhibition at Saint-Pierre Church in Firminy

6 February — 7 June 2026

To mark the 10th anniversary of the UNESCO listing of the Maison de la Culture in Firminy and the 20th anniversary of the construction of Saint-Pierre Church, the Le Corbusier Site is dedicating an exhibition to photographer Lucien Hervé. His images do not merely document the buildings; they show how architecture is experienced, bathed in light and inhabited by movement, which Le Corbusier found so appealing. Presented in the lower parts of Saint-Pierre Church, the exhibition offers a journey that connects Hervé’s photographs with Le Corbusier’s built work.
This “odyssey of the gaze” invites the public to rediscover Firminy from a perspective that is both sensitive and analytical.
